I'm afraid this dish must have come off the menu. Best, Alec

I know it's been a while since you posted about Le Bistro de Pekin, but I was wondering if you remember the name of the noodle dish with the spicy peanut and sesame sauce. I couldn't find it on the menu, and when I asked the waitstaff, they said they had nothing like it. Thanks for the help!

My wife and I hang out in both places.
have you tried the Sezchuan restaurant on bd Strasbourg Blows your pants off.
Local is also Napoleon for us. A good club sandwich for 10 euros is better than a good club sandwich for 14 euros. That’s enough for me 🙂

It’s become a favorite for me, and a place I’ll go on my own for lunch when I need a break from my keyboard at home. The owner’s wonderful, there’s a great terrace for people watching in good weather, and fyi, they’re brunch is good, too. Best, Alec

I have been there recently, the food was good, the vibe was great, and the owner is a sweetheart.

In two plus years in Paris, we never found any Chinese places that were more than mediocre. The Japanese cuisine was generally much better than the Chinese. Although we never got to try the Chinese in the 20th arrondissment, which seemed from observation like the right place to start.
